Consultations. Where are they held?
These can be at The Studio, your home or chosen venue. It is however easier at The Studio as I have all vases and hire items available and many books to show you.
Can I bring anyone along?
Yes please do! Anyone that will help you make choices. Don’t bring too many as you will get conflicting advice. Grooms are welcome but tend not to have many thoughts re flowers and we need to discuss your dress.
I already have a few ideas of what I like can I bring photos?
Please do!!. Anything you have seen previously that you like (or dislike) helps to narrow the choice and help you decide. If you are on Pinterest please email me a link beforehand and I can take a look.
I have chosen a colour that’s hard to describe?
Any samples from dress shops or ribbons etc. you are using please bring along. Dress images are also welcome.
How and when do we pay?
A non refundable booking fee of £75 is payable once you are happy with the initial quote, this is deducted off the final balance. The final balance is due 3 weeks before your wedding date.
How do we pay?
Payment is preferred by BACS but I also take cards and cash.
What if I change my mind on flowers/colours?
I ask for all items to be finalised a month before your wedding. At any time you may change, add or subtract items but any substantial changes and a new quote will be sent.
Do you deliver?
Absolutely! I much prefer to deliver your flowers as I have the means to do this safely and securely to allow your blooms to arrive fresh and in one piece. If you want to collect them, this can also be arranged.
Do you need to see me on the day?
I really do prefer to. I want to make sure you are happy with your bouquets and buttonholes and it is all part of the wedding morning. If you are out at the hairdressers let me know and I can arrange delivery around this.
Do I need to arrange someone to set up my venue flowers?
No, absolutely not! This is all included in the price. I set up any church flowers as well as any venue flowers. I have the time, skill and knowhow each item needs to be shown off to perfection. Once contact details are provided for your church and/or venue I will contact them directly to arrange delivery times.
I have hired items, when do they need to be returned?
All hired items will be collected from your venue. I will arrange all this with them but if it is a hotel and you are staying I will try and collect before check out so should there be any problems they can be dealt with immediately.
If you are hiring only then it is a maximum 4 day hire from collection.
What happens if Covid restrictions are brought in again?
Any weddings that fall under Government wedding restrictions can be postponed to a later date. Please ask for my availability before booking your new date. Please keep me informed of any likely changes so I can work with you to minimise costs. *Once flowers are ordered payment must be accepted, these will be yours to take away.
What happens if a flower isn’t available?
I endeavour to fulfil your flower requirements exactly, if due to circumstances a bloom isn’t available I will substitute with the nearest available. If there isn’t a close match I will be in touch with your options.
