Vicky’s wedding ceremony and reception were held in The Judge’s Lodgings in Lincoln’s Bailgate. A lovely venue for an intimate gathering of close friends and family.

The light blue and ivory theme was carried through all designs with ivory gerberas and blue Nigella being the focus flowers.

Added into the ceremony table long and low were stallion chrysants, gyp and eucalyptus, ruscus and pistach foliage.

A bay tree was placed either side the table to frame the window area.

The chair covers and bows were once again supplied by the wonderful Emma at Elegant Touches and I supplied an ivory gerbera with a diamante pin to place in the bows.

There was also a small design on the fireplace surround along with swagging from Elegant Touches.

The Wedding breakfast was in the dining room and the guests sat around a U shaped table. (The chairs would be brought across after the service while photos were being taken)

The flower decorations were kept low with these gorgeous small candelabras with ivory taper candles. The displays were once again gerberas, Nigella and gyp with mixed foliage. The ceremony flower display would also be brought through and sit on the top table.

Vicky initially met me at The Bailgate wedding faye where it was lovely to chat to her about her upcoming wedding being held in The Judge’s Lodgings where I had my stand.

Vicky’s colour scheme was ivory and light blue and she wanted to incorporate these colours in to her flowers at the end of June (2014)

She liked Gerberas and we teamed these up with lovely light blue Nigella and gyp. As the Nigella has quite a bit of foliage nothing else was added to the bouquets except diamante.

A handful of diamante were added to the centre of each gerbera .

The stems were wrapped in an aspidistra leaf and over bound with ivory shoelace ribbon to hold.

The two bridesmaids each carried a similar but smaller version but without the diamante.
