Vicky’s wedding was held at the family house with an outside ceremony and wedding breakfast in a marquee.

For the ceremony the seats were straw bales covered for the comfort of the guests and the aisle was decorated with jars of flowers hanging from shepherd crooks. The flowers kept the colour of vintage and dusky pink and ivory and were a mix of summer flowers.

This bird cage, bride’s own, was filled with the same mix of flowers as the aisle to decorate the ceremony table.

The marquee for the wedding breakfast was all white with the only colour being the flowers and logs scattered around the space.

The top table had 2 log slices with small jars of flowers and candles at either end and a few further small jars of flowers dotted along the length.

The guest tables kept the wooden theme going with a branch added to hang the table numbers on. The slices once again had 3 jars of flowers filled with a mix of summer flowers. These included roses, astilbe, celosia, eustoma, dille, rosemary and mint. Many of these being scented.
